The Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors voted to proclaim the third Friday in April as Home Visiting Day in L.A. County. On April 19, we honored the early childhood program designed to support families. LAEP is proud to offer home visit services through our Early Childhood & Family Engagement services.
Home visiting was introduced in Los Angeles County in 1997 when the L.A. Department of Public Health sponsored a Nurse-Family Partnership pilot program. Learn more about Home Visiting Day in L.A. County.
