Neil Anstead, who founded the Cleveland Humanities Magnet at Cleveland High School, was recognized last week when a classroom building was named in his honor. The Magnet school has been a flagship for the Humanitas program, which LAEP has been supporting for over 25 years. Humanitas teachers implement an interdisciplinary, writing-based approach in a program that now extends to 31 other district schools.
