| This is Chamise also known as Greasewood. It is from the Rose or Rosaceae family. Its scientific name is Adenostoma fasciulatum. It is an evergreen shrub that grows from 2-15 feet in height. It has small 1/4' needle-like leaves and small white flowers. It is a dominant plant in many chaparral communities. |
