Results of Gary Serbeniuk's class studies at Manual Arts School, Los Angeles

            My biology classes have conducted studies of gulls on the Manual Arts campus during fall semesters, 1995-through-1998. The purpose of these studies is to introduce students to the scientific method of discovery and to introduce topics in animal behavior, ecology, and natural selection. My students design and carry out field research of gulls on our campus, and report their findings in scientific papers.
