Arts Resources for Educators

  • Art Education - providing projects and ideas for educators and information on Crayola products.

  • Art Education for Elementary Students - designed to aid teachers. Lessons have been written and gathered from several time periods, cultures and media.

  • The Art Teacher Connection - offers a technology newsletter for art educators. Site also has art links, lessons, graphics and teacher interaction pages.

  • ArtsEdNet - online service arts education from the Getty Center for Education in the Arts. Provides lesson plans and resources for teachers.

  • ArtTeacher.com - offering resources for art teachers and tutors, including CD-ROM reviews, research databases, email connections, public and private forums, and lesson plans.

  • Australian National Affiliation of Arts Educators - Australian organization in the arts learning area. It provides a voice for arts educators in all levels of education, promoting respect, recognition and status for the arts.

  • Incredible Art Department - The complete resource for students and teachers of the visual arts.

  • Southern Districts Visual Arts Network (VAN) - independent professional organization for secondary school visual arts teachers in NSW. Contains information on upcoming events and activities and links to visual arts sites.

  • SUAVE Online - integrated approach to teaching and learning in multicultural and multilingual settings. Helps teachers develop ways to integrate the arts into curriculum.

  • Teachers' Art Links - links to resources for dance, music, media and visual arts for teachers of grades 5-12.
