First-graders explore the fascinating world of the rain forest by creating one in their own classroom. Students also visit the Rain Forest room at the Los Angeles Natural History Museum to further experience the wonders of the rain forest and take a trip to the Los Angeles Zoo to see live rain forest animals. Students learn to observe and record the life sequences of many insects through hands-on activities.
