Teacher Credentialing Forum The California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CCTC) will sponsor a public forum on March 18 that will discuss the comission's plans to reform teaching credentialing. Forum participants will get a chance to discuss the changes this reform effort is planning to bring about with education policymakers and the implications for California's school districts and universities. Participants will include Carolyn Elner, chair of the CCTC; Guilbert C. Hentschke, dean of the USC School of Education; and Sam Swofford, executive director of the CCTC. Education Policy makers from Cal State Los Angeles, Pepperdine, UCLA and USC have also been invited to attend.
