The partners develop inquiry-based activities derived from current research and industry applications of science and mathematics. Industry/University Partners with advanced training in their fields serve as role models and mentors while deepening the content knowledge of students and teachers. Applicants are paired according to preferred geographic area, community, grade level and interests. The Partner's Fellowship Program places secondary science and math teachers in industry and university offices and labs for 6-8 weeks to improve their knowledge of current technologies in their chosen fields. Teachers translate newly learned applications into innovative curricular and experimental activities for their students.
