The program works directly with teachers to help them perfect their mathematics and science teaching skills. Programs include a monthly curriculum newsletter, "Science Matters and Math Counts," which includes Math FAX and Science FAX -- open-ended math problems and science experiments for teachers to use in class. Math manipulatives and science experiments with write-ups that parallel the newsletter are on display and will be available via the Internet or regular mail. Further support is offered through our library of math, science, technology resources; our satellite downlink enabling teachers to view teleconferences and special programs; and our website for on-line resources.
