Two major SEP activities include the IMMEX Training Institute and the Lennox/Hughes/UCLA (LHU) Partnership. The month-long IMMEX Training Institute offers teachers the opportunity to design software that promotes students' problem-solving skills, meets the needs of the curriculum, and doubles as an assessment tool. The LHU Partnership (www.lennox.ca.us) offers students, teachers and parents of the Lennox School District multiple activities, including health fairs, professional development for teachers, science fair program, extracurricular activities, parental involvement, and student support.
