Its goals are to foster excellence in mathematics curricula and educational programs, promote professional excellence in mathematics teaching, strengthen leadership in mathematics education, and help establish and support Affiliated Groups in California and northern Nevada. The ComMuniCator, CMC's quarterly publication, is a nationally recognized forum for mathematics educators.
