The mission of AIMS Education Foundation is to enrich the education of students in grades K-9 through hands-on activities that integrate mathematics, science, and other disciplines. AIMS has earned national reputation for developing an integrated science/mathematics curriculum and building a quality staff development program to support its successful implementation. AIMS sponsors four programs: 1) Research and development leading to the creation of a comprehensive, integrated math/science curriculum for K-9; 2) instructional leadership training for teachers to become certified AIMS staff developers; 3) sponsorship of one-day, two-day, and one-week AIMS orientation and staff development workshops; and 4) publication of the monthly AIMS magazine, which is provides continuous staff development and program progress information.
