Through its Water Education Program, the Department disseminates information about the historical development of water resources in California, current issues impacting the present and future water supplies and use, and water conservation ideas and activities. The information is free and available in several formats; classroom workbooks, teacher's guides, posters, games, and videos. These materials can be easily integrated into science curriculums and make water-related issues interesting and exciting. Other technical Department publications and reports are also available for a small charge. We also facilitate Project Wet workshops.
