Making an IMPACT

GETTING REAL & GETTING SMART -- The Teachers' Voice in Educational Policymaking MetLife Fellows Report on How to Improve Student Achievement, is now available online.

The document, released by the National Teacher Policy Institute, a project of IMPACT II-The Teachers Network, is its first-year culmination report based on the Institute's year-long research.

We are featuring four essays from that report by Los Angeles Unified School District teacher Ken Barker, who teaches English at Sylmar High School.
