THE L.A. EDUCATIONAL PARTNERSHIP will recognize exemplary educators, schools, and learning communities that demonstrate a measurable impact on student achievement with awards of up to $10,000.

Through a major grant from the Ahmanson Foundation, the Excellence in Education awards will be offered to teachers, schools and school and family collaboratives.

Only Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) pre-K through 12th grade teachers or schools may apply. Applications are available at school offices. To request an application or to make a nomination, phone LAEP at (213) 622-5237 or go online. The application deadline is April 2, 1999.
