Students Vote

THE LEAGUE OF WOMEN VOTERS CALIFORNIA, in collaboration with the Political Science Department at UC Davis, has posted a new site designed to inform the public about the 1998 mock elections, as well as to allow schools to register to participate online.

The site features teaching resources including sample lesson plans and an educator's forum where educator's from all over the state can trade ideas. The Web address is http://agsc.ucdavis.edu/polinet/elections/lwv.

Visit last week's Learning Exchange for links to information sources on the political candidates and ballot measures. These resources will help you sort through the political muck to make informed decisions.

Remember to Vote November 3rd!
