The LAEP Learning Exchange, LAEP’s online interactive Web site, provides the education community with a weekly source of news, information and resources. LAEP’s Update is a free, semi-weekly newsletter featuring LAEP's current activities and the latest education news. LAEP’s periodic Focus Papers provide more in-depth information about education reform issues.

The LAEP Excellence Awards recognize and reward the results of efforts of educators and communities and showcase educational practices that have improved student learning. With the support of The Ahmanson Foundation, awards of up to $10,000 are made to teaching teams, schools and school communities that demonstrate exemplary practices having a measurable impact on student learning. During its first three years, the Excellence Awards had nearly 300 entries from the Los Angeles Unified School District. The awards focus attention on excellence in public education with numerous examples of outstanding teams of teachers, schools and school-communities who achieve results for students.
